Welcome to my blog!
Thank you for taking the time to read about my fight against Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I was diagnosed on Christmas Eve 2009 and began my 6 months of ABVD chemotherapy in January 2010. I was devastated when I learned in July 2010 that my cancer had become "Refractory" and I am now facing more chemo and eventually a stem cell transplant.
My primary reason for creating this blog was to keep my friends, family and co-workers up to date on my treatment.
I also hope that it is helpful for others recently diagnosed, who may happen to stumble upon it. When I first found out I had Hodgkin's, I read many other blogs written by survivors detailing what they had been through and I found it to be very helpful.

Hey Jess, this is Zade and Colin from Cancer Club (up at Gilda's) - we are wishing you the best and we feel so bad about what you have to go through. Keep up the good work and stay strong, and we can't wait to see you at the club when you're on the road back to health!
